Default Hard Copy of Bonus Mission Pack?

Hey, I'm gonna have alittle trouble getting the bonus mission pack online, but i'm not sure if it's available on the high street. Is it? Or do you absolutely have to order it online?

yes, it's only online. Once you pay, Anet adds it to your account but gives a number which corresponds with the purchase. Idk why they would give it tho as the pack is automatically added. After purchasing it, you should be able to go in-game and play it immediately.

They give you the number so that if support ever asks for it, you have it

If I recall, stores like Wal-Mart sell pre-paid Visas that will work just like credit cards.

It would be very silly to sell them as hard copies. It would basically be just an access code.

Uhh, yeah...just an access code - plus I doubt ANet will waste time making box art for it.

This is out of the question.

It's not so silly an idea for those of us who can't do online retail. :/

Or wont do Online retail..
I buy it just for the envelope art.
Srry fact is...that would have sold more copies of the BMP than the online store.

Says what figures? Don't give "statistics" without having a real backing for them.

70% of all statistics are made up!

The problem w/ things like a BMP retail package is that it'd have to go through the whole printing & distribution system, for what is a very specific audience of possible purchasers. That doesn't even take into account for the fact that the added costs to distribute such an item would have to come from somewhere... would ANet have to eat the added cost, or would you pay $15 instead of $10?

Well, since i refuse to make a playNC account, i guess not.
I have tried to make an account before, but i always get 1/2 way through the process and decide they dont need that much information about myself.
They should have just added a BMP to a copy of PC-Gamer like they did with the Destroyer mini-pet and made a fortune..man, i need to go into marketing.
Yes, i would have paid 15 bucks for a magazine with a BMP in it.

To do what you suggest, they would have to convince the magazine publisher to charge more for that edition of the magazine and then send the additional proceeds to ANet. I don't think any magazine would agree to that. It's an absolutely absurd idea. What about the subscribers to said magazine. Is the publisher now gonna send them a bill for the additional cost of that particular magazine. Maybe they don't play GW and would have no need for that code but are being charged "extra" for it. What if they refuse to pay the extra charge, even though the magazine is already in their hands. Then what, the publisher has to go to court to get their money? There is no way a venture like that would work. So, if you want the BPM, quit being anal and go to the online store and purchase it. If you don't, then quit crying about how unfair it is.

Yeah, the BMP is not really a big deal. It's a few solo quests that give you some ugly weapons skins. Either buy it or don't, but stop whining about it.
